Ruby Ellen Shrubar , 79, of Kingsland, passed away, January 17, 2012. She was born to Alfred and Lena Zwernemann Dancak on August 9, 1932 in Deanville, Texas.

Mrs. Shrubar was married to the late Louis Shruber on December 15, 1950 in Caldwell, Texas. Mr. Shruber died February 25, 1907. Ruby was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Peters Lutheran Church in Marble Falls, Texas and was a member of the quilting club there.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Dale Borman of Crescent Spring, Kentucky, daughter, Danene Shrubar of Marble Falls, Texas and son, David Shrubar of Kingsland, Texas. grandchildren, Melissa (Abe) Coldwater, Michelle (Tim) Marshall, Jordan, Brianna, Brian Shrubar and Michelle Borman, great grandchildren, Aubry and Madison Marshall, Elijah and Zack Coldwater, brother and sister-in-law, Aldon and Helen Dancak of Austin, Texas and sister-in-law, LaVerne Dancak of Austin, Texas. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services were held at St. Peters Lutheran Church, 1803 Highway 1431, Marble Falls, Texas on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Danielle Casey officiating. Private inurnment will be held at a later date. An online guest register may be signed at www.PutnamCares.com.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peters Lutheran Church in Ruby’s memory.
