Alice Mae Leach, 59, of Llano passed away July 22, in Austin. She was born Oct. 28, 1948, in Llano to Norma (Key) Hallmark and Vonnie Hallmark.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill, who passed away in 2006 as well as her father.
Mrs. Leach is survived by a daughter, Debbie Povec and husband, Mike, of Austin; four sons, Cecil Leach and wife, Sharla, Johnny Leach and wife, Tammy, Wayne Leach and wife, Teresa, and Troy Leach and wife, Linda, all of Llano; mother, Norma Hallmark, of Llano; three brothers, Charles Hallmark and James Hallmark, both of Tow, and Ronnie Hallmark, of Richland Springs; nine grandchildren, Wesley, Kristen, Julie, Janelle, Jason, J.J., Jordan, Blake, and Brittany; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She married William (Bill) Leach on April 6, 1972, in Llano. Mrs. Leach was a member of Pittsburg Ave. Baptist Church and loved sewing.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, July 26, at 10 a.m. at the Leach Family Cemetery in Llano County with the Rev. Dale Strawn officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Mike Peters, Mike Fuerst, Rick Frank, Randy Reven, Jim Mikulenka, and Leroy Haggerton. Honorary pallbearers were Tommy Bailey and Monty Montgomery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Christopher House in Austin or the Bible Baptist Church in Llano.
Arrangements are under the direction of Waldrope-Hatfield-Hawthorne Funeral Home in Llano.
