Llano High School Varsity and Junior Varsity Cheerleaders attended the Universal Cheerleaders Camp at Angelo State University this summer.

The Varsity Cheerleaders earned one of the first spirit sticks at camp as well as all Superior ratings for their evaluations. They brought home a Superior trophy from camp for their efforts.

Varisty cheerleaders include Katie Yeager, Claire Hartz, Chelsea Pike, Margot Stevenson, Mika Smith, Jazmin Jensen, Taylor Coffey and Ashton Bollier.

The Llano High School Mascot also earned all Superior ratings for her evaluations, as well as being named an All-Star Mascot. Wendi Oldham, a freshman, will serve as “Sting” this year.

The Junior Varsity Cheerleaders also brought home all Superior ratings and a Superior Trophy. Margaret Anderson, a freshman on the squad, earned All-Star honors as well.

Junior Varsity Cheerleaders include Kirstie Roark, Margaret Anderson, Hannah Compton, Mary Downey, Heide Forrister, Megan Mansell, Kaitlyn Smith, and Tori Vestal.

The cheerleaders are coached by Nita Fields and Jarah Bauman.
