John Timothy “JT” Simpson, 41 years of age, died at his residence in Kingsland after battling illness for along time.

JT was the youngest child of Sid and Betty Massey Simpson. He was born in San Antonio on June 18, 1967.

JT had lived in Kingsland since 1974.He attended and graduated from Llano High School in l985.

He was involved in the Retail Lumber business for several years. Survivors include his Wife: Shelly Simpson, Children: Timothy “Cade,” Evan Grayson and Logan Victoria Simpson. His Mother: Betty Simpson, Brothers and Sisters: Sid Simpson, Jr, DeeAnn Durant, Guy Simpson, Melody Yanniell and Joy English.

Preceding him in death was his father: Sid Simpson, Sr. in December 2001. Memorial services were held at the First Baptist Church in Kingsland on November 9, 2008.
