A Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) and Texas Rangers cooperative investigation into the shooting of Jordan McBee of San Saba has resulted in the arrest of 18-year-old Alexandra Rhodes of Pontotoc for eight counts of Furnishing Alcoholic Beverages to a Minor, and one count of Aggravated Assault and Deadly Conduct.

TABC Agent Michael Deans and Texas Ranger Dewayne Goll investigated a November 14, 2008, shooting at 8307 Hickory Grove Road in Mason County, at a ranch approximately 20 miles from the City of Mason.

During the investigation, Ranger Goll and Agent Deans were able to determine that a party took place involving nine teenagers under the age of 21.

Evidence indicates that the host Alexandra Rhodes, had furnished or made alcoholic beverages available to the other youth at the party.

Rhodes was also indicted for shooting Jordan McBee in the leg the same night, resulting in a critical injury. McBee has since been released from the hospital.

On December 12, 2008, Agent Deans obtained an Arrest Warrant for Rhodes on eight counts of Furnishing Alcoholic Beverages to a Minor.

On December 18, 2008, the Mason County Grand Jury indicted Rhodes on the charges of Aggravated Assault and Deadly Conduct.

Alexandra Rhodes was later arrested and booked into the Mason County jail and then released on bond.

Furnishing Alcoholic Beverages to a Minor is a Class A Misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $4000 and or up to a year in jail. Aggravated Assault is a Second Degree Felony punishable by 2 to 20 years in prison and a fine up to $10,000.

Deadly Conduct is a Third Degree Felony punishable by 2 to 10 years in prison and a fine up to $10,000.
