Llano High School Library is encouraging summer reading by hosting a Half Price Scholastic Book Fair May 19 through May 27. It will be held in the High School Library daily from 7: 30 a.

The Llano Uplift Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution recently celebrated its 12th birthday with a business meeting and luncheon at the River City Grille in Marble Falls. New officers were installed, a new member was inducted, and Mary Stevens was honored on her birthday.
