Warren Dale Freeman passed away Friday, August 27, 2010 at the age of 53. He was born September 1, 1956 in Burnet to Bonnie Faye (Scott) and Warren Carl Freeman. He married Jil (Landon) Freeman, August 11, 1979 at Lutie Watkins Memorial United Methodist Church in Llano, Texas. After graduating from Llano High School in 1974, Dale went on to obtain degrees from both Southwest Texas and The University of Texas at Austin School of Pharmacy, where he finished at the top of his class.

Lillie June Jones passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the age of 72. She was born October 24, 1937 in Kyle to Lillie Mae (Rudford) and Fred Mouser. She married Shelby R. Jones, January 20, 1977 in Round Rock, Texas; he preceded her in death June 20, 1997. Also preceded in death are parents Lillie and Fred Mouser, three sisters and a brother. Survivors include sons Earnest H.

Clara Rose Williams, 86, of Kingsland, passed away, August 21, 2010. She was born to Josh and Anna Kurz Sandlin on October 22, 1923 in Dallas. Clara was a member of the Civil Air Patrol, Austin Power Squadron and the Experimental Aircraft Association. She is survived by her husband, Roy Williams of Kingsland; son, Frank Hinds of Horseshoe Bay, two grandsons, Robert and David Hinds and one great granddaughter.

Nettie Jean Hobbs, age 85 of Hutto and a former resident of Kingsland from 1969 to 2001, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 in Georgetown. Nettie was born on September 24, 1924 in Crowell to Sylveston Newsom and Jeanettie (McKenzie) Newsom. She married Ernie Clifford Hobbs on January 7, 1945 in Lubbock.

Margaret Tumlinson Myers passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at the age of 85. She was born January 4, 1925 in San Antonio to Emma (Weatherford) and Joseph D. Tumlinson. Carrie L. Browne resident of Wimberley passed away July 30, 2010, at the age of 70. She was born November 2, 1939, in Ponca City, Okla.to Hazel Whipple and Joseph Hall. Carrie was long time resident of Houston until retiring to Llano in 1994. She was a wonderful and loving mother, wife and grandmother who nurtured all of us. George Eldridge Harlan, Sr., 88, of Tow, formerly of Austin, passed away August 5, 2010. He was born to William Steve and Martha Emily (Smith) Harlan on June 10, 1922 in Junction, Texas. Mr. Harlan grew up in Austin, Bee Cave, and Woodlake where he was active in Future Farmers of America (FFA) in School.

Margaret Fern Rhodes Winfrey passed away Sunday, August 8, 2010, in Llano, Texas, with her family by her side. She was born on October 14, 1912 in Ballinger, Texas to Henry and Maude Irene Buchanan Rhodes; she was two months shy of her 98th birthday when she died. The Rhodes moved to Brady, Texas, where Margaret attended Brady schools and where, while attending Brady High School, she met Crawford Winfrey.

Nell (Wolaver) Bauman, age 83 of Llano, passed away Friday, August 6, 2010. She was born on March 2, 1927 in Ellis County to Alice Blanche and Sam Wolaver. Nell married Ross Bauman on February 18, 1950 in Fort Worth. She graduated from Texas Christian University with her Bachelors Degree. Nell was a school teacher with Llano Independent School District and retired after over 35 years of service.
