Bert Schorlemmer died Feb. 27, 2010 in Llano, at the age of 91. He was born Dec. 30, 1918 in San Antonio to the late Bert T. and Louise Hasdorff Schorlemmer. He was raised in San Antonio, where he attended Edison High School. He was a resident of Llano County for over 50 years. Billie Jean Ware, 80, of Kingsland passed away March 4, 2010. She was born to Beakley and Agnes (McCollough) Mangum on July 24, 1929 in Poteet. She married Vernon Ware on April 28, 1950 in San Antonio. She was a stay-at- home mom for many years before she went back to work for the Harlandale Independent School District working as a secretary until her retirement.

Clara Ann Veteto, 99, of El Paso, formerly of Kingsland, passed away Feb. 16, 2010. She was born to William H. and Virginia Ann (Simms) Timms on May 1, 1910 in Pine Bluff, Ark. She was a head designer for Frost Brothers Fashions in San Antonio in the 1950s. She enjoyed painting and spending time with her family and beloved chihuahua, Quinny. Mrs.

Howard Aubry Trammell, Lt. Col. US Army Retired, 89, of Kingsland, passed away Feb. 9, 2010. He was born to Millard and Alma (Prichard) Trammell on April 18, 1920 in Avondale, Mo. Mr. Trammell proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was an American Advisor to the Korean Army two times during the Korean Conflict and an instructor of Military Tactics at Vanderbilt University.
Jewell “Judy” Belle Landes, age 90, died peacefully in her home on March 6, 2010 after battling Alzheimer’s. Judy was born on May 17, 1919 in Devol, Cotton County, Okla. Her parents were Samuel and Laura Bray. She grew up in north and west Texas and graduated from Vernon High School.

Beverly Ann Lutz Tillery, 62 years of age died on Feb. 17, 2010 in Kingsland. A daughter of Walter Lee and Tommie Ruth Jones Lutz, she was born in Hershey, Pa. on July 10, 1947. Beverly had worked as a patient care taker for several years. She attended the Hoover Valley Baptist Church in Burnet. He was born on Nov. 25, 1961 in Jacksonville, Ill. to Josephine (Scupham) Buchanan and Leonard Buchanan. He was a member of the Lynnville Christian Church of Jacksonville, Ill. David Charles Luckenbach, of Sandy Harbor, passed away from cancer on Feb. 23, 2010 in Marble Falls at the age of 59. David was born on Dec. 17, 1950 in Falfurrias to Louis Luckenbach and Helen (Hanson) Luckenbach. David is survived by his wife Alison Pryce, daughter Sarah (Luckenbach) Hoffman, her husband Benny Hoffman and their children: Clare, Matthew, Ryan and David Hoffman, all of Llano.

Ella Claire was born in Llano on Oct. 7, 1917 to Luella (Ratliff) Ligon and Walter Hiram Ligon. She passed away Feb. 21, 2010 at the age of 92.
