Mary Lee Kothmann Thomas, passed away on June 22, in Houston. Born on Sept. 22, 1932, in Frio County, Mary Lee was the second of six children born to Evelyn and Ryland Kothmann.

Modena Estell Johnson, 89, of Kingsland, passed away at her home June 19. She was born on May 8, 1919, in Hermleigh to Alice Lewis and Clifton Ryan.

Ruby Joyce Ahrlett Macek, 75, of Bryan, passed away Friday, May 23. She was born Dec. 31, 1932, to Russell and Susie (Merkel) Ahrlett, in Llano.
