Clark Eugene Grebenstein, 50 of Llano, Texas passed away Tuesday January 10, 2012. He was born January 6, 1962 to James Edward Grebenstein and Wilma (Klett) Grebenstein in Akron, Ohio. Clark was a resident of Llano for the past 23 years. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his brothers, Gary Grebenstein of Sedona, Arizona, John Grebenstein of Temecula, California, James Grebenstein Jr.
Elijah Dwayne Foxworth, infant son of Tasha Nobles passed away Friday January 13, 2012 in Llano, Texas. James Morris Henderson was born on November 5, 1919 in the home of his grandparents, Juda C. and Ellen Redford Winkler on Willow Creek near Llano, Texas. His parents were James Horace Henderson and Imogene Redford Winkler. He passed away on January 11, 2012 at Seton/Kyle Hospital in Kyle, Texas following a brief illness. Morris spent his formative years on the family ranch in Llano County where he developed a lifelong love of the land.
Jewel Frances Davee, 91 of Round Rock, Texas formerly of Buchanan Dam, Texas passed away Tuesday January 10, 2012. She was born July 29, 1920 to John Riley Tomme and Ida Charlottie (Breinning) Tomme in Valley Spring, Texas. Jewel married E.J. “Pete” Davee on February 9, 1941 in Goldthwaite, Texas.

Joseph V. “Pop” LeJeune, 71 of Kingsland, Texas passed away Wednesday January 11, 2012. He was born May 5, 1940 to Calise LeJeune and Lillian (Carrier) LeJeune in Leonville, Louisiana. Joseph and his wife Della moved to Kingsland in 1992 coming from Crowley, Louisiana, he was a member of the Buchanan West Baptist Church in Buchanan Dam, Texas.

Charles Lavan DeVore, 81, of Kingsland, formerly of Lamesa, passed away January 4, 2012. He was born to CL and Opal (Greer) DeVore on May 23, 1930 in Nolan County, Texas. Mr. DeVore married Patsy Brownlow on June 4, 1948 in Lamesa, Texas. He made a career as an oil field foreman and in his spare time, he enjoyed bird hunting and working in the yard.
Dorothey Bell (Skaggs) Haggerton, 74 of Llano, Texas passed away Friday January 6, 2012. She was born January 24, 1937 to George Skaggs and Erma (Williams) Skaggs in San Saba, Texas. Dorothey has called Llano her home for over 30 years. She is preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Zachary Haggerton. Survivors include, her sons Billy Haggerton and wife Teresa of Llano, Texas and Eddie Smith of Llano, Texas; daughters, Debbie Rae Smith of Llano, Texas and Tammy Nelson of Llano; ...
Lawrence Joseph Fickey, 88, of Kingsland, formerly of Bryan, passed away January 5, 2012. He was born to Joe and Alma (Hinz) Fickey on May 7, 1923 in Kurten, Texas. Lawrence attended school in Kurten before marrying Lillie Mae Fojtik, his wife of 48 yrs. He worked for Griesser’s Electric and Bryan Air Force Base before starting Fickey Electric.

Patsy Ann Mathis Burnes, 80 of Kingsland Texas formerly of Lometa, Texas passed away Wednesday January 4, 2012. She was born June 23, 1931 to Jack Robert and Mary Bell Lloyd Mathis in Post , Texas. On September 12, 1948 Patsy married R.V. Burnes in Lynn County, Texas. Patsy was interested in many hobbies including needle pointing, gardening, painting and floral designing.
Virginia Arlene Vandeventer, 87 of Kingsland, Texas formerly of Mobile, Alabama and Montana passed away Saturday January 7, 2012. She was born September 21, 1924 to William Seavey and Nellie (Bennet) Seavey in New York. Virginia married F.W. (Bill) Vandeventer in Bozeman, Montana April 4, 1944. He preceded her in death in 1998.
